We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly. Stainless Stair Parts ships orders Monday through Friday. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received. Normally orders placed before 11AM CST ship that same day or next business day. When time permits we can extend the cut-off time until 3 PM CTS, but we cannot guarantee it. Orders received after the above cut-off time will be shipped the following business day. Note that there are restrictions on some products.

Domestic shipping across the Continental US arrives in 3-5 business days.

Business days are limited to M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, not including holidays. The Stainless Stair Parts fulfillment center is closed for the observance of major United States holidays. Orders placed on major holidays are processed and shipped on the next business day.

  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes calculator and order status page.

We ship via all major ground carriers, including FedExUPSUnited States Postal Service (USPS), and Fed Ex SmartPost with final delivery by the U.S Postal Service throughout the Contiguous United States. Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. 

Some heavy and/or oversized items will be shipped by Freight Curbside Delivery. This is a dependable and economical service with deliveries being made Monday thru Friday during business hours. Deliveries are scheduled in a 4-hour time window and a freight company representative will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery appointment. Freight Curbside Delivery covers delivery to your curbside only. Please note that extra charges may apply to remote areas and for complicated deliveries.

Your items may arrive in different shipments. Depending on the type, quantity and weight of items in your order, we may pack and ship them in different packages to ensure they arrive on time and undamaged. You will never be charged more for shipping and handling than what appears at checkout. 

Every time you place an order, you'll receive email notifications of the status of your order. 

We deliver to addresses within the contiguous United States only (excluding Hawaii & Alaska); this also excludes PO Box addresses. If you'd like to update the address please contact us as soon as possible to help you out.

Note: Due to the length, our stainless steel railing, wood railing and round bar pieces longer than 7.5 ft must ship via freight carrier and are not eligible for FREE SHIPPING. One of our sales reps will contact you to determine accurate freight cost. Please note that it is against our policy to profit in any way from shipping. If you feel that your shipping charges are excessive, please contact us immediately and we will evaluate the charges carefully.

Please open your package immediately upon delivery. Stainless Stair Parts will not be held responsible for any problems not reported to us within the first 48 hours after the package is listed as delivered by the shipping service.

Please DO NOT wait until your project begins or for your contractor/installer to begin on the project to inspect items. Any claims for missing or damaged items should be made within 48 hours of receiving your package/s. We will not be held accountable for any delayed projects for any reason. We can help assist you in choosing items you may need for your installation but essentially it is up to you or your contractor to make a decision on final products as they or you will be installing them.
