Shipping & Returns


We understand that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly. Stainless Stair Parts ships orders Monday through Friday. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received. Normally orders placed before 11AM CST ship that same day or next business day. When time permits we can extend the cut-off time until 3 PM CTS, but we cannot guarantee it. Orders received after the above cut-off time will be shipped the following business day. Note that there are restrictions on some products.

Business days are limited to M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, not including holidays. The Stainless Stair Parts fulfillment center is closed for the observance of major United States holidays. Orders placed on major holidays are processed and shipped on the next business day.  

Holidays observed include:  

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes calculator and order status page.

We ship via all major ground carriers, including FedExUPSUnited States Postal Service (USPS), and Fed Ex SmartPost with final delivery by the U.S Postal Service throughout the Contiguous United States. Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. 

Some heavy and/or oversized items will be shipped by Freight Curbside Delivery. This is a dependable and economical service with deliveries being made Monday thru Friday during business hours. Deliveries are scheduled in a 4-hour time window and a freight company representative will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery appointment. Freight Curbside Delivery covers delivery to your curbside only. Please note that extra charges may apply to remote areas and for complicated deliveries.

Your items may arrive in different shipments. Depending on the type, quantity and weight of items in your order, we may pack and ship them in different packages to ensure they arrive on time and undamaged. You will never be charged more for shipping and handling than what appears at checkout. 

Every time you place an order, you'll receive email notifications of the status of your order.

We deliver to addresses within the United States only; this excludes PO Box addresses.

Note: Due to the length, our stainless steel railing, wood railing and round bar pieces longer than 7.5 ft must ship via freight carrier and are not eligible for FREE SHIPPING. One of our sales reps will contact you to determine accurate freight cost. Please note that it is against our policy to profit in any way from shipping. If you feel that your shipping charges are excessive, please contact us immediately and we will evaluate the charges carefully.


Our shipping estimation calculator cannot correctly estimate additional shipping charges. We will contact you within 24 hours by phone and email with actual shipping amount so that you can verify acceptance of these charges.


Please open your package immediately upon delivery. Stainless Stair Parts will not be held responsible for any problems not reported to us within the first 48 hours after the package is listed as delivered by the shipping service.

Please DO NOT wait until your project begins or for your contractor/installer to begin on the project to inspect items. Any claims for missing or damaged items should be made within 48 hours of receiving your package/s. We will not be held accountable for any delayed projects for any reason. We can help assist you in choosing items you may need for your installation but essentially it is up to you or your contractor to make a decision on final products as they or you will be installing them.

Please be aware that stock on our products may change from day to day. We suggest you call to check on current availability especially for larger quantities. We will do our best to fulfill your order as quickly as possible. (844) 424-0112

Return Policy 

We want you to be completely happy with your purchases. So we do everything we can to assure you get the exact merchandise you order, delivered on time. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we will be happy to accept returns within 30 days under the following guidelines.

Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. There is a 30% re-stocking fee on all returned items and shipping charges are not refundable. All returns require a return authorization from us (RMA#). Before you return an item please call us or send us an email stating your reason for a return. Special order items are not returnable. All unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Items used in any way will not be accepted for return or exchange.

IMPORTANT: The buyer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance on any products returned for a refund.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you wish to change or cancel an order please contact us immediately and we will try to rectify or cancel the order if possible.

As we strive to process orders quickly, there is only a brief period of time during which you may change or cancel an order. All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant facility and this process incurs irreversible fees. If you wish to cancel an order, a full refund will be issued, minus any transaction and/or other applicable fees incurred by Affordable Stair Parts due to the cancellation of your order.

If you should make a mistake when ordering, please contact us immediately and if your order has not been packed or dispatched we will always do our best to accommodate your request.

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order and you have not been notified that it is out of stock please notify us within 48 hours. You will need to provide us invoice/order # for the funds to be credited to your account for your next purchase or before a full refund is offered. Please ensure to check your order against the invoice and packing slip as soon as your order arrives.

We cannot issue refunds, replacements or store credits for items missing or shipping/factory-damaged if more than 48 hours has lapsed after your order was delivered.
